The Lincoln Heights Storm Drainage Improvement Project is located within the Irwin Drainage Basin and is roughly bounded by Interstate 85 to the North, Interstate 77 to the East, La Salle Street to the South, and Beatties Ford Road to the West. The purpose of the project is to reduce flooding of streets and structures, and to replace any structurally deficient pipes within the project area.

For this project, Armstrong Glen, P.C. will provide hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the existing storm drain system along with the design of a new system to serve this area. The drainage system consists of a series of channels and culvert crossings with curb and gutter along most of the roadways. The study limits include 11,600 feet of closed pipe systems and 150 drainage structures.

Project Duration: June 2012 to present (currently in the design phase).
