The Hinsdale-Tinkerbell Storm Drainage Improvement Project is located in the Southpark area, about 8 miles due south of downtown Charlotte. The study area is roughly bounded by Wamath Drive to the north, Sharon Road to the west, McMullen Creek to the east, and Quail Hollow Road to the south. This current storm water project consists of a planning study which includes a hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of a storm drainage network within a fully-developed 258 acre urban watershed.
Estimated Construction Cost: $4,000,000. Project Duration: September 2011 to present (currently in the design phase).
