Located in the “Eastland/Wilora Lake” area of Charlotte, the Wilora Lake rehabilitation project was implemented to improve an existing impoundment that receives runoff from a 166-acre urban watershed.
For this project, Armstrong Glen, P.C. provided analysis, design, and permitting assistance for improvements to the 2-acre pond. This project included reconstruction of the embankment, stabilization of the receiving channel, construction of a new access drive across the spillway, and reconstruction of a concrete spillway for the low-hazard dam.
Construction Cost was $611,000.
