Located downtown Charlotte, 36th Street Sidewalk Project was to extend, upgrade, and improve ADA compliance for sidewalk systems on 36th Street.
For this project, Armstrong Glen, P.C. provided conceptual plan development and engineering design. Work on 36th Street included approximately 500 linear feet of sidewalk and accessibility ramps to complete connectivity to North Tryon Street. 36th Street also included an at-grade railroad crossing designed to provide a safe crossing for visually impaired pedestrians. Extensive coordination between North Carolina Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railroads was required.
Estimated Construction Costs was $165,000.
