Located along Hope Street in Rock Hill, the existing sanitary sewer was substandard clay pipe. This project was implemented to replace the undesirable pipe.
For this project, Armstrong Glen, P.C. provided design services for the replacement of 2,030 linear feet of clay sewer pipe. This project involved a creek-crossing of steel pipe on piers as well as 120 linear feet of ductile iron pipe within an existing floodplain. Additionally, all existing residential service lines were tied into the new sewer mains.
This project included: 430 linear feet of new 10” PVC pipe, 1550 linear feet of 8” PVC pipe, and 16 new precast manholes. Construction Cost was $230,000.
