Located in York County SC, the River Pines Water System Replacement project was to replace the existing water supply and distribution system for a fifty-two lot subdivision in York County.
For this project, Armstrong Glen, P.C. services included engineering design, bid document preparation, and construction observation. Water supply was originally provided by two commercial wells and two 20,000 gallon hydro-pneumatic tanks. One tank was taken off line due to leaks and one well was abandoned. The new system was supplied by a tap onto an existing 16” York County main, and consisted of 7100 linear feet of 6” water main, 11 fire hydrant assemblies, 5 gate valves, 52 residential services, and 45 linear feet of 14” cased bore.
Estimated Construction Costs was $345,000.
